TAG

Tournaments, scrims and matches for Discord servers.

TAG homepage: the headline “Stop running scrims out of a spreadsheet and three bots” beside the owner dashboard, shown with sample data.

01 / Problem

The problem

Discord communities run tournaments and scrims by hand: spreadsheets for brackets, manual role changes, results pasted into channels. It's slow and error-prone for organizers.

02 / Build

What we built

  • Tournaments, scrims, in-houses and XP matches, run from one web dashboard
  • Discord sign-in, plus a bot that posts brackets, results and roles to the server
  • Players sign up, report results and track their stats on the site or in Discord
  • End-to-end test suites run against a fake Discord before each release

03 / Mobile

On a phone

TAG on a phone: the headline and the request-access button.

Most visitors arrive on a phone, so the mobile layout is designed first: the call and estimate buttons sit within one tap.

04 / Stack
