Terms of Service

Effective date: November 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of services from Quillon Builds ("Quillon Builds," "we," "us"), a web and software business run by Stonie and based in Keller, Texas. When you check out, you agree to these Terms. Questions: stonie@quillonbuilds.com.

1. Services and Plans

We build and host websites for contractors and local businesses, and we build custom software.

The scope of each plan is described on quillonbuilds.com at the time you buy. Custom Software work follows the written quote we send you. If that quote conflicts with these Terms, the quote controls.

2. Checkout and Billing

• You pay through Stripe Payment Links. You do not need a sales call.
• Setup fee plus first month are charged when you pay your secure checkout link. Full refund if you cancel before launch.
• After you pay, you fill out our intake form so we can begin.
• Monthly billing renews automatically through Stripe on the same day each month until you cancel.
• We may change plan prices with at least 30 days' written notice. A change takes effect at your next billing date after that notice.

3. Refund Before Launch

If you cancel before your site launches, you get a full refund of the setup fee and every monthly payment made so far. "Launch" means the site is live on your domain, or on a URL we give you if you have not connected a domain. To cancel, email stonie@quillonbuilds.com. Our Refund Policy sums this up.

4. Cancellation After Launch

After launch, your plan is month to month, and you can cancel anytime by emailing stonie@quillonbuilds.com. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not refund partial months or the setup fee after launch.

5. Ownership: Domain, Content, and Code

• Your domain is yours. You keep the registration and control of your domain. If we help set it up, we will give you access whenever you ask.
• Your content is yours. You keep ownership of your text, photos, logos, and other materials you give us. You grant us a license to use them only to provide the services.
• Site code. We own the code, templates, and tooling we use to build and host your site. While you subscribe, you have the right to use them for your site.
• If you cancel after launch: we take the hosted site down at the end of your paid period. We will send you an export of your content (text and images) if you ask. To keep the site code, you can buy it out for $750, and once you pay, we transfer the source code for your site to you (shared libraries and third-party services are not part of that transfer).
• Custom Software ownership follows the written quote.
• We may list your project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Give us accurate intake answers and the content we need, on time. Delays on your side may delay launch.
• Have the rights to every piece of content you provide.
• Make sure your business claims, licenses, and any required disclosures on the site are accurate and legal.
• Keep your account access secure.
• Use any automations, such as texts and review requests, in line with applicable law, including consent rules for calls and text messages.

7. Third-Party Services

The services rely on third parties, including Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Upstash, and Cloudflare. We are not responsible for their outages or policies.

8. Disclaimers

We make no promise of any specific result, including leads, calls, rankings, or revenue. Except as these Terms state otherwise, we provide the services "as is."

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Termination by Us

We may suspend or end the services if you fail to pay, break these Terms, or use the services unlawfully. If we end the services without cause before launch, we will give you a full refund.

11. Governing Law

The laws of the State of Texas govern these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date, and we will email active clients about any material change. If you keep using the services after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
